The Savannah Peaches picked up a win at Moose Head Stadium, taking down the Manchester Mooses, 5-3. Starting pitcher Carlos Munoz was a big reason why. Ken Post earned the save for Savannah, his 1st of the year. The win gives Savannah a season record of 44-34.

The Peaches got a big at-bat from center fielder Alex Muniz. For the game, Muniz went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Savannah a 2-0 lead.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Savannah manager Brian Riley. "It's usually not just one thing."
