The Erie Seawolves gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Seawolves had to overcome a good performance from Wichita pitcher Alex Juarez to claim a 3-2 win at Erie Park. Juarez went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. After today's action, Erie sits at 18-19, while Wichita falls to 23-14.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Oscar Romero came to bat in the bottom of the 11th. Facing Wichita pitcher Edwin Armas, he hit a 2-1 knuckleball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Erie on top, 3-2.

"I like our resilience," said Romero.
