Despite a great performance by Sylva second baseman Billy Thompson, the Prince George Cougars defeated the Miners by the score of 14-9 at The Back Draft. Thompson was 3-4 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. Alex Cubias notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 6 hits in 3 innings.
