Totems Get Clutch Win Versus Prince George
Prince George got a decent performance from pitcher Sergio Mora, but it wasn't enough to beat the Victoria Totems. Victoria won the Royal Athletic Park contest, 7-6. Mora threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. Victoria reliever Bob Hutchings was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Reginald Kloosterman. Pierre Serre got the save, his 8th in 8 chances.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Jonathan Shipp came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Prince George pitcher Reginald Kloosterman, he hit a first pitch cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Victoria on top, 7-6.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Shipp told the Victoria Herald.

The second-place Totems have a record of 54-32.
