The Wichita Storm defeated the Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas, 7-3. Center Fielder Alex Santiago deserved a large share of the credit. Santiago went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Storm. With the win, last-place Wichita is 13-73.

Early in the game, Santiago had a grand slam home run for Wichita. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Storm on top, 5-1.

Santiago attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
