The Brooklyn Cyclones finished off the Yuma Varmits, 7-4. Much of the credit belonged to left fielder Alex Castillo. Castillo went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Cyclones. Earning his 5th save for Brooklyn was Joe Bauer. The win makes Brooklyn 47-39.

With Brooklyn leading 4-1 in the top of the fifth, Castillo hit a sinker from Victor de Leon for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 7-1.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Castillo told the Brooklyn Daily.
