Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Caribbean Commies and the Frobisher Bay Caribou. Caribbean won it, 1-0. Caribbean starter Francisco Castillo was in command. Castillo yielded no runs over 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 11-5. Caribbean has won 4 straight games.
Salvador Tobon drove in one run for Caribbean. The 21-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Sergio Diaz. It was his 47th RBI of the season.
