Villagomez Helps Scorpions Run Win Streak to 6
The Scottsdale Scorpions powered past the Caribbean Commies, 8-2, at Castro Field. Victor Villagomez provided some of the pop. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Scottsdale has now won 6 in a row.

With Scottsdale leading 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Villagomez hit a fastball from Bobby Maldonado for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Scorpions ahead, 6-0.

"We didn't put our best foot forward tonight," said losing manager Atamas Manas.
