The Rockville Rangers defeated the Manchester Mooses by the score of 8-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Jesus Campos. Campos went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Rangers on the day. Adam Zacher, who is tied for 5th in the RR in wins with 9, earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 9-0. Antonio Ruezga was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

The Mooses had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Rangers going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old shortstop Ryan Lawton came to the plate. Lawton hit a run-scoring double on a 0-1 fastball from Manchester hurler Oscar Castillo. It was Lawton's 9th double of the year.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Rockville manager Bill Gallagher.

Rockville is now 72-22.
