The Paradise Island Pirates topped the Savannah Peaches, 4-3, in 13 innings at Predator Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Paradise Island pitcher Sandoval Mazzioti. Paradise Island pitcher Robby Barbosa earned the win, hiking his record to 3-2. William Smathers suffered the loss. Paradise Island is looking good at 64-29.

The decisive blow was delivered by Corey Craig in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a solo home run off 18-year old right-handed pitcher William Smathers to win the game for Paradise Island. The home crowd went nuts.

"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Pirates manager Jorge Ávila.
