Red Hot Cyclones Win Again, 9-6
The Brooklyn Cyclones and Carrollton Rangers duked it out at Rangers Field.

The Brooklyn Cyclones beat the Carrollton Rangers, 9-6, in 11 innings. Brooklyn pitcher and Havana, Cuba, native Jon Rivera led the way. Joe Bauer picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Victor Villafane suffered the loss. Angelo Muniz locked down his 1st save.

Vicente Zarate delivered a big hit for Brooklyn. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 8-6. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"I like our vibe," said Rivera. "It's a winning vibe."

Brooklyn is now 55-39, Carrollton 49-45.
