Corcoran Powers Sabercats Offense
With right fielder Todd Corcoran leading the charge, the Sedona Sabercats defeated the The Stinging Larvae, 16-7, at The Lair at Sabercat Field. Corcoran went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Rich Chavez notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. The defeat makes The Stinging 2-2.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Sabercats grabbed the lead when Corcoran hit his 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple off Ramon Gomez made it 9-7, Sedona.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Corcoran told the Sedona Daily.
