The Walnut Creek Warriors picked up a win at The Kaleidoscope, knocking off the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 4-3. On the mound for Walnut Creek was left-hander Nelson Ramirez. He played a key role in the triumph. Ramirez picked up the win for Walnut Creek, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. With the win, the Warriors improved to 60-35.
Bobby Tackman, who leads the TML in extra base hits with 60, had a direct impact on the outcome. Tackman contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the third inning to put Walnut Creek up, 1-0.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Tackman told the Walnut Creek Observer.
