Normal Nutcrackers starter Andres Silguero was on his game, helping his team beat the Savannah Peaches, 4-2. Normal reliever Andres Silguero got the win, raising his record to 2-5. Matt Dullum was tagged with the loss. Santos Molina closed out the game, earning his 1st save.

Normal used a clutch at-bat from Joel Gonzales to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Nutcrackers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Andres showed what he's made of," said Normal manager Juan Colo.

The Nutcrackers improved their record to 40-61 with the win over Savannah.
