Carrollton got a terrific game from second baseman Nate Parish. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Sedona, 11-8. Parish was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Marcos Sanchez got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 5.2 innings. The save was credited to Alex Rodriguez, his 3rd.

Todd Corcoran chipped in a grand slam home run for Sedona in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.
