Revenge Post 6-4 Win
The Syracuse Orange Sox could not turn a fine performance from right fielder Bob Pascucci into a win. Instead, the Barbados Revenge prevailed, 6-4. Pascucci was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jeffrey Banfield got the win, improving to 1-4. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 6 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 5. The save went to Allen Floyd, number 1 for him.

Barbados won the game in part because of Julio Torres. The third baseman ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Revenge ahead, 6-4. For the game, Torres had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Torres told a Barbados Observer reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."

The last-place Revenge are now 37-66, the Orange Sox 67-34.
