Rowe Leads Peaches to 14-11 Win Over Legends
The game was a shootout. To win it, the Savannah Peaches had to outpace the Cooperstown Legends. The final score was 14-11, Peaches. Neither team lacked hitting stars. For Savannah, left fielder Aaron Rowe was the foremost. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Jay Ocker notched his 3rd save of the season. The Peaches now have a record of 13-7.

Savannah used the timely hitting of Malachi Wichert to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Peaches on top, 14-11. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Wichert.
