Paradise Island Earns 2-1 Win
In a tight tilt between the Paradise Island Pirates and the Savannah Peaches, Kenny Holloway was the difference-maker. The Paradise Island right-hander excelled in his team's 2-1 win in 11 innings. Victor Crawford snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-0 on the season. Willie Reyes suffered the loss. The second-place Pirates are now 16-4, the Peaches 13-7.

The Pirates got a clutch hit from first baseman Brian Ruddock. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Pirates.

"Every loss hurts," said Savannah manager David Flecha. "But this was a tough one."
