Stadtlander Goes 5-for-6
The Sedona Sabercats stopped the Wichita Storm by a score of 22-8 at The Storm Center, with the lion's share of the credit going to right fielder Justin Stadtlander. The 20-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Stadtlander said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Stadtlander did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Storm.

"Not much that I can say," offered Wichita manager Daniel Carrasco. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Justin Stadtlander singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Miguel Duran in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in a run in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

For the season, Stadtlander is hitting .345, batted in 38 runs with 9 home runs and 22 runs scored.
