Rich Mendoza helped his team muscle past the Normal Nutcrackers, 7-4. In the game, the Wichita designated hitter was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Orlando Roldan earned the win for Wichita. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 9. With the win, he raised his record to 1-5. Mario Bonilla nailed down the save.
