Fighting Iguanas Score Late, Upend Cyclones, 6-3
Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas right-hander Danny Sweeney pitched a good game against the Brooklyn Cyclones at The Lava Flow, leading his team to victory, 6-3. Yes, it was a win for Boca Raton; but their 39-74 record is still nothing to boast about.

Boca Raton needed the clutch hitting of Francisco Cardoza to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Fighting Iguanas on top, 6-3. For the game, Cardoza had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

After the game, Boca Raton manager Tomohiro Harada applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
