The Manchester Mooses defeated the Easton Caterpillars, 20-3, at Moose Head Stadium. Raul Inzunza produced 2 singles and 1 double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Their 58-55 record puts the Mooses 4th in the RCL R John Mayberry Division.

The Mooses got a big boost from designated hitter Jim Deatherage who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Caterpillars hurler Diego Alarcon. It was his 27th walk of the season and put Manchester on top, 1-0.

"That's what I call an offensive explosion," said Deatherage after the game.
