Thunder Bay starter Jose Soliz kept the Prince George hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 9-0. The second-place Lighting go to 68-46.

The Cougars had their hands full with Soliz, who overpowered Prince George hitters while racking up 11 strikeouts.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Soliz.
