Rodolfo Brambila was nothing short of phenomenal for the Normal Nutcrackers. The 17-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Wichita Storm, 4-0. Rodolfo Brambila picked up the win in relief for Normal, while Julio Silva took the loss. The Nutcrackers raised their record to 46-70.

Normal used the timely hitting of Oscar Salazar to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Nutcrackers ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I thought Rodolfo threw the ball well across the board," said Normal manager Juan Colo.
