The Cooperstown Legends dealt the Montreal Cardinals a 6-3 loss at Denis Coderre Stadium. Bryan Sartor, who is tied for 10th in the TR in home runs with 12, was the star on offense. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Alvin Aguilar collected his 1st save. Cooperstown raised its record to 26-14 with the win.

Cooperstown used a well-timed hit by Mitch Ashley to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Legends ahead, 5-3. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Sartor after the game.
