Syracuse 73-45 After 10-8 Win Over Prince George
|
The Syracuse Orange Sox overcame a pretty good performance by Prince George third baseman Carlos Ramos, beating the Cougars, 10-8, at Syracuse Fields. Ramos was 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit 2 times. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Now 12-106, Prince George has dropped 11 straight.
Jairo Soto went 3-4 with 3 singles for Syracuse. The 19-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Angelo Sotelo. It was his 85th hit of the season.
Afterward, Prince George manager Sergio Martínez said: "We've got to find a way to pick up a win."
