The performance of Alberto Canto proved critical in helping Rosewell beat Yuma, 10-2. The Tribbles left fielder was 2-3 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Rosewell pitcher Jose Bahena earned the win, hiking his record to 4-0. Juan Silva suffered the loss. At 75-43, the Tribbles claim 4th place in the TML R Fred McGriff Division.

Andy Velazquez helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Tribbles.

"We'll need a much better effort, the next time out," said losing manager Vinny Aceves.
