Frobisher Bay starter Marco Trujillo kept the Syracuse hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 9-2. The win puts the Caribou at 88-32, while the Orange Sox drop to 74-47.

In the top of the third, 22-year old second baseman Matt Conley hit a 2-run home run. The 18th home run of the season for the Frobisher Bay second baseman put the Caribou on top, 2-0.

"Marco is one tough son of a gun," said Frobisher Bay manager Lao Lo.
