Getting offensive support from Tim Rasmussen, the Sedona Sabercats topped the Coronado Islanders, 12-8. Rasmussen went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Sabercats. Rafael Guzman snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 1.2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. Sedona now owns a record of 49-72.

Sedona got a game-changing hit from Walt Berg. The third baseman blasted a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.
