Nutcrackers Stymied by Rangers, Roldan
|
The Carrollton Rangers picked up a win at Rangers Field, knocking off the Normal Nutcrackers, 7-0. Starting pitcher Julio Roldan was a big reason why. The 5th-place Rangers now have a win-loss record of 20-28.
Roldan imposed his will on the Nutcrackers, scattering 3 hits over 6 innings while striking out 12. The left-hander upped his season record to 3-5.
"Julio was magnificent," said Carrollton manager Hung-chang Chao.
