Vargas, who is tied for 2nd in the TR in home runs with 35, was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Jeff Brady notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 3-0. The save went to Alex de Jesus, his 16th this season.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Timbers grabbed the lead when Vargas hit his 35th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Gabriel Henriquez made it 8-6, Oconto Falls.
