Pineda, Victoria Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
Royal Athletic Park was the site of a true pitchers' duel.

The Victoria Totems, behind a great outing from German Pineda, who is rated as the 27th best prospect by BNN, defeated the Normal Nutcrackers, 2-0, at Royal Athletic Park. By defeating Normal, the third-place Totems improved to 37-24.

Pineda picked up the win. He's now 5-3, after putting the Normal offense in the deep freeze. Over 8.1 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 4 hits.

"I managed to get ahead of guys and keep them at bay," said Pineda.
