The Easton Caterpillars defeated the Syracuse Orange Sox, 11-8, in part because of third baseman Nataniel Bonet. Bonet went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Caterpillars. Luis Resendez earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits in 3.2 innings. His record is now 1-0. Edgar Rubio closed it out for his 1st save.

Easton center fielder Dustin Carlisle helped the Caterpillars go up, 9-8, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Carlisle hit a run-scoring single off Syracuse pitcher Julio Abreu.

"It feels good to get this one," Bonet told the Easton Chronicle.
