Texans Earn Win with Late Rally
The Chicago Eclipse could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Brendan Tucker into a win. Instead, the Dallas Texans prevailed, 4-3, in 14 innings. Tucker threw 10.0 innings of 8-hit ball. Ruben Rosado, 3-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. The Texans are now 42-57.

Dallas used the timely hitting of Greg Shelton to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 14th inning to put the Texans on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We put together a nice win," Shelton said.
