Critical Game 5 Goes to Host Peaches, 13-7
Savannah Peaches third baseman Will Busse was the difference-maker at Martin Field, as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the League Championship Series. The Peaches took the 13-7 win over the Rosewell Tribbles to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Chris Anderson came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Rosewell pitcher Eddie Saucedo, he hit a 1-1 slider for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Savannah on top, 9-7.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Busse.

Game 6 is scheduled for Tuesday at Classified Field.
