When the games really matter, the Oconomowoc Five O's put on their best show, beating the Moonbeam Martians by a final score of 14-13. Tom Verbeek belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Oconomowoc now leads Moonbeam 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

The decisive blow was delivered by Gordie Rudolph in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a 2-run double off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Esteban Torres to win the game for Oconomowoc. The home crowd went nuts.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Rudolph. "And not try to do too much."

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, October 26th , 2064 at Abbey Stadium in Toronto.
