Right-hander Dustin Brindle mesmerized the Wichita Wolverines while leading the Boise Hawks to a 6-0 victory. Boise now owns a record of 38-102.

Brindle, a native of Elizabeth, New Jersey, was dealing all game. He kept Wichita hitters off-balance, while giving the Hawks 8.2 quality innings. Brindle threw 88 pitches, allowing 1 hit and striking out 4.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Wichita manager John Bunce.
