Castellanos Helps Peaches Win, 7-5, with Pair of Homers
Good production from second baseman Victor Castellanos helped the Savannah Peaches topple the Coronado Islanders, 7-5. Castellanos slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Peaches. The winning pitcher was 20-year old right-handed pitcher Sal Santiago. He tossed 100 pitches over 5.2 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits. With the win over Coronado, the Peaches improved to 79-61.

With Savannah leading 2-0 in the bottom of the first, Castellanos hit a changeup from Nick Rosin for a grand slam home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Peaches ahead, 6-0.

"Whenever you can come through for your ball club, it's a great thing," said Castellanos.
