Hornets Hammered by Roark, Drop Game 3 to Warriors
Riding the 3-hit performance of second baseman Johnny Roark, the Walnut Creek Warriors got a road win against the Eureka Hornets, 10-3, in Game 3 of the ABL Championship. Roark went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs for the Warriors, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Walnut Creek won the game in part because of Dan Edwards. The third baseman ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Warriors ahead, 3-0. For the game, Edwards had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Roark.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Nest in Eureka.
