Down to Defeat Goes Buffalo, 12-5
The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the Buffalo Bison, 12-5, in part because of designated hitter Ethan Morehead. Morehead was 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Sasquatch. Jared Mix was the winner. He's now 3-3. The loser was 29-year old right-handed pitcher Andrew Stith. The Sasquatch sit in second place in the Thurman Munson League West Division with a record of 52-48.

Dan Carnes, who is tied for 8th in the TML in triples with 5, took Buffalo hurler Andrew Stith deep in the bottom of the second. His grand slam home run put the Sasquatch on top, 4-0. In all, Carnes had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Vicente Vargas said.
