Driscoll, Warriors Take Dramatic Game 2 for 2-0 Series Lead
The Walnut Creek Warriors got a strong game from starter John Driscoll, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Warriors took the 5-4 win over the Pennsylvania Butterflies in Game 2 of the Divisional Series in a 12th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the left-handed Driscoll. Driscoll threw 5.1 innings allowing 2 runs in the win, which gave the Warriors a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Walnut Creek left fielder Matt Saxton, facing Dakson Rocket, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Warriors the 5-4 win.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Saxton told the Walnut Creek Observer.

Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday at The Kaleidoscope in Philadelphia.
