The Stinging used a well-timed hit by Victor Saenz to capture the win. The second baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Larvae ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" The Stinging manager Jose Correa said.
