The Prince George Cougars could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Luis Contreras into a win. Instead, the Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas prevailed, 5-4, in 10 innings. Contreras threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. The losses continue to pile up for Prince George, which has now fallen 23 times in a row.

The Fighting Iguanas got a clutch hit from catcher Victor Trujillo. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Fighting Iguanas.
