Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Barbados Revenge and Syracuse Orange Sox.
Kevin Froehle pitched well, but his team, the Syracuse Orange Sox, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the Barbados Revenge at The Drunken Wench Stadium. The win for the Revenge lifted their record to 74-74.
The Revenge got a big at-bat from second baseman Benny Ros. For the game, Ros was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 20th home run of the season gave Barbados a 2-0 lead.
"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Revenge manager Dan Barkdull.
