Butterflies Topple Bison, 12-9, as Brew III Shines
The game was a shootout. To win it, the Pennsylvania Butterflies had to outpace the Buffalo Bison. The final score was 12-9, Butterflies. Neither team lacked hitting stars. For Pennsylvania, catcher Paul Brew III was the foremost. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Norm Anglin, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2051 draft, nailed down the save. The Butterflies are now 51-35.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Brew III delivered big-time for Pennsylvania, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Josh Swopes. The game-changing hit put the Butterflies on top, 11-9.
