In a close game at Ozark Mountain Stadium, the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners edged the Mexico City Luchadores, 5-4. Eagle Rock catcher Timothy McAlear stood apart with his performance. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Eagle Rock reliever Bryan Young got the win, raising his record to 3-4. Eric Lewis was tagged with the loss. Eagle Rock is now 53-49, Mexico City 47-55.

McAlear had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 cutter from Eric Lewis, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Ridge Runners a 5-4 lead. It was the 10th double of the year for McAlear.

Eagle Rock manager Paco Berroa commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
