Mounties Drop 6-2 Decision
The Chicago Eclipse picked up a win at Millennium Field, dropping the Montreal Mounties, 6-2. Chris Titus, who is tied for 3rd in the RCL with a 1.26 WHIP, was the difference-maker. The winner was Titus. He threw 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Greg Spivey. Chicago goes to 59-42, Montreal to 57-46.

Jason Bennett had a big 2-run double for the Eclipse in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Chicago leading 3-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from former first round draft pick Greg Spivey and swatted a double to right. It was his 21st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Eclipse ahead, 5-1.

After the game, Chicago manager Demetrio Recchia applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
