San Francisco wasted a solid 7.1-inning effort from starting pitcher Chris Crawford, losing to Bloomington, 2-1, at Golden Gate Park. John Peters, who is on pace to win 21 games this season, picked up the win in relief. Chris Crawford took the loss for San Francisco. The first-place Blazers, at 60-42, lead the Thurman Munson League East Division by 3½ games.

Jaden White, who is tied for 8th in the TML in extra base hits with 51, had a direct impact on the outcome. White contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Bloomington up, 2-0.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said San Francisco manager Bill DesMarais. "We just didn't cash in."
