The Seattle Sasquatch wiggled past the Buffalo Bison, 5-4, in 10 innings at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Seattle pitcher Jason Sanders. The 4th-place Sasquatch improved to 49-53.
Seattle got a clutch hit from Matt Cordeiro. The shortstop launched a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"We earned that one," said Cordeiro.
