Raucous Castlerock Field Crowd Propels Warriors to 8-5 Victory; Series Tied at 3
Seattle designated hitter Willie Castillo pounded Walnut Creek Warriors pitchers at Castlerock Field, but it was not enough to keep the Sasquatch from falling, 8-5, in Game 6 of the LCS Round. Castillo was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice, though he couldn't prevent the Sasquatch from slipping into a 3-3 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Walnut Creek left fielder Fred Dempsey helped the Warriors go up, 5-4, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Dempsey hit a run-scoring single off Seattle pitcher Mançio Madrra.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Walnut Creek manager Armando Medina told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Castlerock Field in Walnut Creek.
